What type of music can I expect?

We are still selecting artists to perform at 4DBD 2022, however, it’s important to us and the selection committee to celebrate all types of music. Musicians from a wide variety of genres will share the spotlight, including artists of hip hop, rap, folk, rock, and more. Stay tuned for artist information.

Will the music and events be appropriate for kids?

Yes. This is a family-friendly event to celebrate music in all of its varieties. All artists are required to keep their material appropriate for all ages.

I’m an artist. Where can I sign up to perform?

Artist applications can be submitted here. All artists are chosen by the For Dayton By Dayton Selection Committee.

- Venue Guidelines & Other Information

Where should I park?

The city of Dayton has ample public parking available in the areas surrounding the event space. Parking in metered spots is free on the day of the event, and most garages charge a small fee. We recommend bringing some cash and a credit card if you plan to use a parking garage. More information about parking in downtown Dayton can be found here.

The Riverscape Metro Park Map is available to view and download on the City of Dayton’s website. All performances will be held in the Pavilion, and vendors will be within close walking distance in the surrounding areas.

Per city guidelines, pets are not permitted at this event except, of course, for service animals.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Most definitely.

Yes. There is a restroom just a short walk from the stage.

- Mask and COVID-19 Policy

Are there COVID-19 restrictions?

It’s too soon to tell. We are staying up-to-date with information about the COVID-19 virus and intend to follow CDC guidelines, as well as city guidelines, as written at the time of the event. Because information about the virus changes frequently, we plan to share our COVID-19 policies in the weeks leading up to the event.
